90’s Country Star Bryan White Performs Sold Out Show In Port Clinton, OH
There is nothing cooler than taking in an intimate show featuring an artist that you grew up listening to. In this case, Bryan White took the stage at The Listening Room in Port Clinton, OH with a sold out crowd that was ready to sing-a-long with all of his hits.
Much to the room’s delight, White kicked off his set with “Sittin’ On Go,” “Look At Me Now” and what many would say is his signature hit, “Rebecca Lynn.”
Bryan was joined on stage by his long time friend (and current guitarist for Taylor Swift) Paul Sidoti. White and Sidoti treated us to a mid-show mix of classic rock covers in “Get Back,” “Take It Easy” and “Jessie’s Girl.”
What truly makes these small shows special is when the artist is able to take time to share stories between songs. Whether it be support from friends such as Mark Miller of Sawyer Brown, Steve Wariner or the late legendary Glen Campbell, many artists have played a large role in Bryan White’s career. In a very special moment, White shared a demo recording on his phone of Shania Twain and Mutt Lange performing “From This Moment” that the two gave him for practice before hitting the studio for the now famous duet.
Bryan White closed out his set with “So Much For Pretending,” “Someone Else’s Star” and the above mentioned “From This Moment.” The crowd response was so great that White has seemingly agreed to return to The Listening Room on the spot. You can bet that I will be there once again!
